The 2nd Global Conference on Sustainability in Economics, Business and Law

ORGANISER

University of Economics and Law (UEL), a member of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, is one of Vietnam’s leading higher education institutions specializing in economics, business, management, and law. With a global network of academic and institutional partners, UEL is located in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) – Vietnam’s economic hub and a vibrant international trade center where East meets West. From Ho Chi Minh City, participants can easily travel by air to other destinations in Vietnam and neighboring countries: Two hours to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, one hour to Da Nang and Hoi An, one hour to Phnom Penh, one hour and a half to Bangkok, two hours to either Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. The conference will take place on the UEL campus. From Tan Son Nhat International Airport, participants can stay at hotels in the city. During the conference days, transportation from selected hotels to the campus will be arranged by the organizers.

CONFERENCE THEME

TOWARD THE TWIN TRANSITION: INTEGRATING ECONOMIC, BUSINESS, AND LEGAL PERSPECTIVES FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURES

The world is experiencing a profound transformation driven by two major trends: the green transition towards environmental sustainability and the rapid acceleration of digital transformation, collectively known as the twin transition. This conference aims to explore the intersection of these two trends, examining their challenges and impact on economic models, business strategies, and legal frameworks, to contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future.

We cordially invite researchers in the areas of economics, business, management and law to address contemporary issues in the theory and practice of the twin transition. Authors are encouraged to submit theoretical, conceptual, or empirical papers based on qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, or case study approaches that explore, evaluate, critique, or debate issues arising from the conference theme.
